Injector Control Unit ... it controls and synchronizes all the equipments of INJETVISION system.

The ICU module is intended to INJETVISION test bench. It provides control signals to drive an injector and the equipment needed for image acquisition. An additional power module of the IPod range, solenoid or piezoelectric injectors, is needed.

Injector driving

  • Injector driving with a time resolution of 0.1 microseconds.
  • Command from 1 to 10 injections per revolution at frequencies between 0.1 and 10 hertz.
  • Operating either in signal generator mode (injection parameters entered by the user) or single-shot mode (receives a pulse on a digital input).

INJETVISION equipment driving

  • The camera can catch instantaneous snapshot: the ICU defines the moment of image capture with respect to 1/T signal and the exposure time with a resolution of 0.1 microseconds.
  • The fog removing device allowing for automatic cleaning of the enclosure, necessary in successive injections.
  • 4 additional signals to control 2 pulsed laser sources. These signals can also be used to control strobe lights.
